KMail maintainer Ingo Klöcker and MozillaQuest's Mike Angelo discuss the KMail e-mail client. MozillaQuest Magazine (mozillaquest.com) reports: Because the KDE, KMail e-mail client is free, feature rich, works well, and works well with Linux, it provides a particularly notable bang for the buck. KMail is an effective tool for reducing and often eliminating e-mail annoyances, privacy invasions, and security exposures. It is good enough to be the e-mail client that we use. Thus, the KDE, KMail e-mail client gets a MozillaQuest Magazine Editor's Choice Award. KDE KMail is well-designed, well-built, and very solid. KMail is open source and you can download it free of charge.
KMail [is] a component of KDE's Kontact . . . (PIM) suite. Kontact is comparable to Microsoft's Outlook PIM and Novell's Evolution. If you would like to get away from MS Outlook, give KDE Kontact a try -- and you should get away from Microsoft Outlook -- it's a privacy invasion and security risk time bomb.
KMail has an excellent message composer and editor . . . KMail has excellent search and filter features too . . . KDE KMail is one of the best email clients available today!
