I guess not, I downloaded the 10.0 version over the weekend July 18th, 2004 and I discovered that the first disk is specifically geared to a computer running Windows only.
I am currently running Linspire 4.5 and wish to over right it with Mandrake. The first disk would not start the installation process when the computer was booted.
I inserted the first disk into a windows operated computer (already up and running) and the CDROM drive automaticollay opened a window showing a graphical interface to shut down the computer and reboot.
I was too scared to reboot, b/c of what it might do to my friend's computer...who wants me to load Linux first and let him know how I like it... anyways, I've verified that the disk copy integrity is good, so it looks like the boot up for loading Mandrake on an existing Linux computer is not possible with the available iso downloads.
