Learn about the Mozilla/Netscape Web page Composer and how to use it. MozillaQuest Magazine (mozillaquest.com) reports: Use Mozilla/Netscape Composer to design, create, and edit Web pages. It's easy to create a nice looking and informative Web page. Moreover, you can do it with Free and Open Source software (FOSS) Web page editing programs [including] the Mozilla Composer . . . these programs come in Apple Macintosh, BSD, GNU-Linux, Microsoft Windows, and UNIX versions. The Mozilla Composer is part of the Mozilla browser suite.

Learn how to open the Mozilla Composer and set its preferences, how to insert and customize tables to serve as Web-page layout elements, create table-based layout elements -- including a masthead, a navigation bar, a sidebar, and a main content area. Also learn how to insert text and images into the table-based layout elements, how to format text, and add background color to the layout elements.

This tutorial is based upon Mozilla 1.7 Beta. Thus it also in effect previews Mozilla 1.7.
