Mandrakelinux 10.2 beta 2!

Mandrake CookerFrom MandrakeClub:

Available since a few days on the mirrors, the 10.2 beta 2, nearly on time, to have a clearer and clearer idea of what will be the final 10.2.

As usual, you can grab the 3 ISO files via FTP, bitorrent., or directly into the live section Mandrakelinux/devel/10.2 on the mirrors.

You can now test the full copy of the CDs content during installation. After the CDs are copied, you will not need your CDs any more to install new packages. I also remind you that you do not have to burn the ISO files to perform an installation. You can keep them on your hard drive and use the small boot.iso image to boot with the 'Hard Disk' installation method where you specify the path of the ISO files. Then urpmi should be able to install new packages directly from the ISO files.
