KDEKDE - one of most functional desktop environment ever. Itss open source and free for use. 19 years ago, 14 october 1991 german programmer Matthias Ettrich has started a development of this beautiful environment. KDE provides the shell and many applications for everyday using. Today KDE uses the hundred thousand peoples over the world on Unix and Windows operating system. 19 years - serious age for software projects. Time to return and see how it begin.
